The team, project management and representatives of the hosting organizations met at the youth hostel Berchtesgaden from October 4th – 6th for the evaluation weekend of IYM Dachau 2024.
Friday, October 4th, 2024
After the welcome and some organizational details, the group collected the goals for the weekend. Then we took time to read the results of this year’s evaluation form. Thank you to everyone who was giving us feedback! Afterwards we discussed these results and what consequences we must take out of it. The day ended with a teambuilding exercise and an analysis of our communication skills.
Saturday, October 5th, 2024
On the second day we went to the documentation center Obersalzberg and did a workshop about how to deal with the terrain of the former Berghof. In the afternoon we talked about ways to further organize ourselves more effectively and how we could improve our cooperation. In the evening, we discussed our team dynamics, the expectations within the team and how we deal with stressful situations.
Sunday, October 6th, 2024
On the last day of our meeting, we collected ideas and wishes for IYM 2025. We talked about what we wanted and what we didn’t want to keep from this year and discussed suggestions for changes. Finally we voted about our focus topic for the upcoming IYM.
