Karla Steeb
Since January 2024, Karla Steeb is supporting the IYM team as assistant project manager. She has already supported the International Youth Meeting as a team member for the past three years.
IYM Dachau 2023
The 41st International Youth Meeting Dachau took place between July 29th and August 11th, 2023. Together with our team around 60 people from 17 nations met in the Max Mannheimer House to talk about history and culture of remembrance as well as current developments. After an exciting year we want to look back.
78th liberation ceremony at the concentration camp memorial site
On April 30th, the 78th liberation ceremony took place at the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, which was also attended by 14 survivors and two liberators with their families.
New project manager for the International Youth Meeting Dachau
The International Youth Meeting Dachau will take place this year from 29 July to 11 August 2024 under the new management of Anja Schuller-Müller. After Stefanie Steinbauer was in charge of the IYM 2022 for the last time as project manager on its 40th anniversary, a successor has been found in Anja Schuller-Müller.
